Like adjectives modify nouns, adverbs can modify adjectives. When they do, the cause lenition to the adjective, and the precede the adjective. There are 2 types of adverb: independent words and prefixes.

ro- most + caran red → ro-garan redest
When adding an adjective phrase too a noun, the first word in the phrase is lenited and the adjective phrase follows the noun just like an adjective does.
hû dog + dae very + muin dear → hû dhae vuin very dear dog
carab hat ro- most + caran red → i garab ro-garan the redest hat
