10.3 Homework

I am a world-hopping, time-skipping reporter, interviewing peoples from all across time and space. You are being interviewed by me. Translate the questions I ask into English, then give your answers (in character!) in Sindarin from a specific time-period. The questions will be asked in the time-period, because apparently this reporter has a universal translator and a babelfish in her ear.

There is no wordbank for this assignment. Use this website: Parf Edhellen to find the words you are looking for. Only use Noldorin words if they have been updated into Sindarin. You can also use this list of Neo-Sindarin words VinQuettaParma if you need them.

Always mark the reconstructed words you use with an *asterisk.

Give an English translation of your Sindarin translations, so I know what you’re trying to say, and can help you translate it.

The word for “reporter” that I’m using is *pethril, a feminine version of pethron.
