There are two types of adverbs. The first is the independent words. They follow the verbs they modify or go at the beginning of the sentence. They are lenited when they follow their verb, just like adjectives. If they follow other words directly behind the verb, then they aren't lenited.
nerin + lim = nerin lim (I run quickly)
edro + sí = edro hí (open now)
sí + aníron glired = sí aníron glired (now I want to sing)
The second type of adverb is prefixed directly onto the verb. They made the verb undergo Prestanneth. I shall list allof the known adverb prefixes and their prestanneth types here:
